Events Apprenticeship Framework launches to tackle industry’s talent shortage
The UKEVENTS (formerly BVEP) Skills Talent & Diversity Working Group has launched its Events Apprenticeship Framework. The framework will launch with five apprenticeship schemes, which include: Events Assistant, Live Event Technician, Creative Venue Technician, Live Event Rigger, and AV Event Technician. Read more

Events industry excluded from energy support scheme
Conference and exhibition centres and the wider events industry have been excluded from the Government’s new Energy Bill Relief Scheme. However, historic buildings, museums, zoos, and other similar attractions which are yet to be defined that do hold events will qualify. Read more
